African Revival is a UK based charity that works in marginalised rural districts of Sudan, Uganda, Kenya, Malawi and Zambia. Our aim is simple - to transform the lives of rural people by giving them the opportunity to lift themselves out of poverty. We want to make a positive and sustainable difference to people's lives. We're working to improve primary education and basic healthcare. We're also working to help entrepreneurs start up small businesses. The hope is that eventually these communities won't have to depend on aid.

We have linked over 75 schools in Uganda and Zambia with schools in the UK, enabling children and teachers to build meaningful relationships and learn from and about each other. Our programme is to construct classroom blocks and boreholes, to provide learning materials and classroom furniture.
In partnership with the Yei Vocational Training Centre in Sudan we are responding to the huge need for builders, carpenter, mechanics and drivers to help rebuild the south of the country. We sponsor students, many have been returning refugees and demobilised soldiers looking for ways to earn a living and provide for their families. We also have several bee keeping projects.
