Melbourne

I'm heading to Melbourne in a couple of weeks - any recommendations of things to do whilst there? 

Port Philip Bay. Philip Island -see the penguins. Sky tower in the city centre - great views!!!!

I went there - the penguins were so tiny! So weird seeing hundreds of penguins just woddling over the beach. Is the sky tower the same as the Eureka tower? I went there and they had the glass floor pod thing that extended out of the building -well scary!

I am sure that place was under threat, wasn't there a TV show about it?

I went there years ago, they drill it into you about no flash photography and someone asked me to take a picture of them, promising the flash was turned off, it wasn't and I became the idiot for the evening, lots of tuts and sighs, was every annoying but fun the watch the penguins coming home for the night

Oh no - they fox'd you there! Great to see the penguins though - they were so tiny!
