A couple of friends of mine are emigrating to Australia - it's been a big decision but I think it's the right one for them. Just wondered how everyone else felt if they were offered to up sticks and leave the UK for downunder.

Grab it with both hands, feet, head and body!!...I'd love to go. My sister is an Australian citizen having emigrated there about 200 years ago. She had a fantastic time. If they're young-ish they can always come back later like she did?..We let people do that!..

I think you know my views Kirstie. I did it in 1994 and though I had to come back due to "circumstances", I visit every year, and as I now hold dual Citizenships and Passports, I will be moving there for my retirement !!!! Bring it on !!!!!
That's a good set up radioman - I wish I could go every year, three months would be perfect for me, January, February and March. And then back home for summer.

VEry optimistic Kirstie coming back in April for our Summer !!!!! Personally, I'd do it the other way around. Just need the Lottery to provide the means and it'll be "Happy Days" !!!!!!
