Perth Parkrun

Yes, the rumours are true...Parkrun is coming to the wonderful city of Perth!

Parkrun is a free, weekly, 5km run which will be launching in Perth in the next few weeks. It started in the UK in 2004 and has been growing ever since. Earlier this year the event made the giant leap to Brisbane, and we're now working on bringing it to Perth. 

Parkrun would be nothing without its volunteers - they're at the heart of each event and they're the people who really make it happen. Furthermore they help keep Parkrun free for all and sustainable. If you're keen to get involved, we'd love to hear from you. 

We're working on a course at the moment, and the runs will be held every Saturday morning.

Where in Perth is it held? I have been to Perth a couple of times but can't remember a main park.

Is there any more info on this happening in Perth? I'd be keen!

Im a keen runner or volunteer.

Kings Park would be ideal, but if thats not an option I guess there are various routes by the river.

Keep me updated anyway.
