Is anyone taking part in this race? An early start at 6:45am! Not for me I don't think.

I think it looks really good, plus of you start that early you'll avoid the mid-day heat.

I hadn't thought of that, good point Carly! I would love to travel for an event.
May the force be with you
I suppose as the event onlly takes one day you could make a holiday out of it, and stay in a nice hotel and go sight seeing the rest of the time .
Every stitch is like a little hug
I can't get motivated to do anything that early unfortunately let alone a marathon!

It would pay off though as you'd feel amazing for the rest of the day!
Don't worry, be happy :-D
I guess so, although going on how unfit I am I probably would not feel amazing after a marathon!

This ones a 4 mile race - so doable
It looks like loads of people get involved to so I can imagine it's a great atmosphere.

Good job it's early, imagine how hot you'd be running in the middle of the day!
I know - not sure I'd fancy it in the scorching heat. It's a pretty nice race to run - goes passed lots of the northern beaches.

Oh well I could probably manage 4 miles! That does sound nice running past the beaches, would probably be quite a fun race.

If I could enter this race I would definitely be more motivated to go out and run - even in the cold weather! Alas, I think it'll be a while before I make it over to Aus.
I'd definitely by more motivated to run too if I was running past beaches, unfortunately the scenery's not quite so good where I go running!
Me too - running past beaches would definitely motivate me to run more. It's so cold at the moment, I've only been running in the gym.

It would be nicer to run with nice scenery, but I think if I was near the beach I'd prefer to go for a swim or try surfing instead!

I'd love to try surfing, but definitely in a warmer climate!

Yeah definitely wouldn't fancy it here in the cold! Would love to try it though, it always looks fun on 'Home and Away'!

I loved Home & Away back in the day! I'd have loved to have lived on the beach there.
I was more of a Neighbours fan TBH, the surfing did look great on Home and Away though. I watched The Descendents at the weekend, it's set in Hawaii and the sea looks stunning

I'd love to go to Hawaii - learning to surf there would be amazing! I was more of a Neighbours fan too - but enjoyed a bit of H&A too.
