I think the last thing I could do when I am hungover is exercise!  Don't think i'd have the energy

I don't sleep that well after drinking, so sometimes it's easier to just get up, sweat it out and tire myself out - I sleep really well the day after!

That's how I felt - so it was a rest on the beach for me.

I get the worse hangovers in the world! Whilst they don't cure my hangover, runs definitely make it feel a lot better. You can never be bothered to start with, but it's definitely worth it!

I think you're mad I could not run when I'm feeling less than enthusiastic and especially hungover.

Posted 13.06.12, 4:00pm

Ha - if I was really hungover I couldn't. If I don't get up and out and do something though, I feel all tired and groggy from the lack of sleep - at least this way I sweat it out and feel better during the day and then go to bed really early.

Yeh I agree rubyloo but definitely could not run around

Or maybe sweat it out by sunbathing instead? Also a tiring activity ha!

Lounging in the sun sounds so much better!  I'd vote for that anyday

The two worst things I can think of is running with a hangover and running in the heat. this sounds like a terrible combo!

Posted 22.06.12, 12:37pm

I wouldn't last very long running in the heat, but I'd feel good for doing a bit. I wish we had more sun... I was going to go for a walk this morning by the weather is horrible!

I used to hate the rain and exercising in it, but the best thing I've found is investing in some decent waterproof gear. then yuo're not too fussed whether it's sunny or rainy

Posted 26.06.12, 12:39pm

Me too! I have a really good running jacket and hat now - so not too fussed by the weather

Posted 27.06.12, 3:55pm

I need to invest in a running jacket - what type did you go for?

I can't think of anything worse than running with a hangover! I get really hot for some reason when I've been drinking the night before - I can't even handle hot showers so I reckon a run would be out of the question!

I agree Hannah_mc no way! just lounge around and not moving very much is the best way to cure a hangover haha

Posted 02.07.12, 3:29pm

Yeah I go for the lounging around and doing nothing hangover cure, always works!

I do these days, but when I first started going out and drinking I used to wake up feeling really guilty and I'd try and do a million things the next day to repent!

My best friends just told me they are making these BIG head cutouts of me for my marathon so I can see them. Ha cannot wait. Need all the help I can get!

Haha as if you even did this! I couldn't no matter how guilty I felt I still wouldn't get up
