I was on the Half course on Saturday (4/24) and the County was paving Bull Creek road...this is the second out and back leg of the full marathon. It should be nice and soft to run on next week...also there won't be so many potholes to trip on. BTW, I was experimenting with a Garmin Forerunner 310XT and it gave very accurate milage on the Half course. I suspect if would not have been as good on the second leg because there is more "old growth" up there...and it's in a canyon as well. The real-time pace info was flakey, but the milage agreed almost exactly with the numbers painted on the course
