i went running today as planned, and my legs felt like lead. I tired to pick them up and move faster but I just couldnt. My pace was just a hair faster but my legs were a ton heavier.
Sometimes you have slow days though. Your body can be weaker than other days, so maybe just see how your next run goes. Have you been doing a lot of running recently?
If you've got lead legs, does that mean you should get a pb??
Soft & fuzzy
I am not sure what pb means but if it means personal best than yes I did do my personal best that time.
This could be a sign that your body muscles are too tired, a metabolic problem or that you are pushing yourself too hard. As a certified personal trainer, I would advise you to gradually build strength in your legs so as to improve on your running ability and also to assist you combat the lead legs. you can do this through lower body workouts such as the leg press and squats or you could also run up and down the hills. Its also very important to take a day or two off to rest to let your body recover as well as regain energy. To remain fit and healthy, go slow on yourself and make a gradual progression.

This is my 2nd week of running. I run 3days a week usually mon, weds, fri. and walk on tues. and cycle on thurs. and then i take sat and sun off to rest. Im doing the c25k program. I have let myself get so out of shape and 40 lbs over weight that I just want to get back in shape. On my walk and cycle days, its not to hard its more leisure and just to keep moving.
