Gait analysis?

I've new to running and have just started training for next year's London Marathon.

I recently bought some K-Swiss Run 100 trainers as I'm flat-footed and the reviews seemed to suggest they had a cushioning effect that would help.

They feel comfortable enough and I have no pain in my paper mache knees after running.
So do I need to have my running style analysed with a view to getting some different trainers?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks Pete
