Just signed up for next year's race which is being run on Sunday 27th May (not the Monday as it usually is). This will be my first time running this event. Who has done this before and what did you think of the course, organisation, experience etc

It's great to run through London, past the landmarks etc.  It's hard to run well because of the crowds.  The organisers try to stagger the starts in waves according to pace but many people are selfish and start in the wrong wave.  Last year I was caught behind a group of 6 women walking with handbags and eating sandwiches.  I caught them up at the 1km mark so can only assume they started at least 2 waves ahead of me.  When challenged about it by another runner their response was they needed to start early as it was going to take them 2 hours to walk it.

Aside from that, it's ace.  Have fun
