Toronto Zoo run

There is a 10k and 5k run in the Toronto Zoo, what is that like?

I think the course for the 10k starts outside the zoo then goes inside. The 5k and cub run is completely inside the zoo. It's not an easy course and there are a few stairs to climb too. But it's a unique location if that's your kind of thing.

Hmm...I'd like to hear from people who've run the zoo event. That sounds interesting but would like first-hand details.

I'm going to be running this one race, and the deciding factor was the "Cub Run." My daughter is thrilled to be running in a race "just like Mommy"!

I've run this event many times and enjoy it. The course is interesting because you run past Giraffes, hippo's etc. The aren't any big hills but you do cross a few bridges and have a small set of stairs (about 6) to climb. The crowd is thick at the start but it improves as everyone stretches out. There are a few spots on the route that the path is narrow so you have to watch your footing.

The event is well organized and you can spend the rest of the day in a very cool place. :mrgreen:
