Any walkers for the half mile??

I had knee surgery just a few months ago and my Dr. approved of me walking a marathon, but no jogging or running yet. Is this half marathon walker friendly?? I definitely do NOT want to be just one of only a few people walking.

i am part of missy kanes mall walking group that meets on wednesday at West Town Mall.

I was training to jog/walk the 1/2 marathon and had a knee injury on Valentines Day Weekend at the Strawplains 10K and am now planning to just walk the 1/2 marathon.  There are others who are planning to walk the 1/2 and full marathon that day and it is walker friendly.  I can't give you a specific number but you won't be alone.  Good luck!!
