I've heard that the Crazy 8s course holds the record for both men's and women's 8k events. Can anyone confirm this is true?

Will there be elite runners to watch? I've always wanted to do that - watch the fastest runners in the world compete. I'm not running - I'll be watching my husband run, and I'm wondering if the finish line is approachable for viewing, or where I should position myself to watch the fast winners/runners.

Crazy 8s typically attracts a world-class field of elite athletes. I'm sure there will be plenty of elites who will be making a world-record attempt.

The Crazy 8s course is very fan friendly. the figure-8 course allows you to see the runners start, then come through at halfway. For the finish, you can either stay in your spot and watch the runners on their final stretch into the stadium, or you can come inside the stadium to see the actual finish.
