Hi everyone
What a day, what an atmoshpere, what an experience.
This was my first attempt at the GNR let alone a half marathon.
Set myself a target of 2 1/2 Hours. Totally thrilled to have made it in 2 hrs 23 mins.
Raised in excess of £1200 for Cancer Research UK
Can't wait to have another go.

Hi all,
Yes i know this is a couple of weeks late but ive only just found this web site. Anyway as for the big day..... OH MY GOD IT WAS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!
I was in agony but did not stop to walk once!!! as for the being th hardest half marathon they aint kiddin' its a flippin' killer!!! they were joking when they said uphill running but my word it was worth it
m definetly doing it again next year. Ran for juvenile diabetes. next year id like to run for another good cause!!!!!
Id also like to say a big thankyou to all those from the local area who came out to support the event!!!
CHEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D
Didn't manage to get there this year, but the atmosphere is always great. It one of the best, if not the best supported half marathon out there. Definitely aiming for 2007 and a time under 2 hours.
