We are going to the Dordogen and Poitou Charentes regions this summer (two seperate weeks). Last year we were in the llanguedoc Rousillon region.
I am starting to really like France.
I would say for good travel tips though look on Tripadvisor. Very useful website
Enjoy your hols!
I try!!!
Dordogne region is an absolute must! I have been to quite a few places in France but find the Dordogne is my favourite. The last place we visited was Domme. There is so much history to learn about in France and Domme is no exception. We rented a Gite for a week near here (but also in the middle of nowhere). Far away from the city lights on a clear night you can see literally millions of stars and if you look closely enough, you often see satellites orbiting the earth!
