With only 4 weeks to go until the FLM, my right calf has been giving me some pain and a great degree of worry.
The pain happened on a run and stays with me throughout everyday life - i.e. walking etc. however sometimes it is there, sometimes it isn't but it always comes back when I run. The pain seems to be centred around the bottom of the calf and my Physio first thought it was my soleus muscle which - it turns out I haven't been stretching. She could not find any tender spots on the calf but gave me some particular stretches to do and I followed these to the letter - balancing off the edge of stairs and calf stretches.
When I went to my physio on a particularly bad day she found the tender spots were at the top of the calf and the foot of the calf - my planteus tendon - which has got very tight - she therefore pummelled it to loosen it up.
I can run with this although the pain starts out worse and gradually eases to an ache as I get about 20-30 mins into my run.
I am going to the Physio tonight to have it taped but just wondered if anyone else had has this type of niggle - what did you do? and did you continue to run?
Thanks for any advice.

Their head is a different shape to a rat's, a rat's is elongated and pointed, whereas a degu's is more rounded. And they are a different build even though you all obviously won't be convinced.
Doesn't really matter, it's all disease-ridden vermin.......
