My sister and I have always trained together, and did our first london marathon 2 years ago. We do lots of runs for charity, but we always do it together. Unfortunately this year we have got different start points. I have been given the red start and my sister has the blue start. There is no way we could run the whole 26.6 miles on our own without the support of each other. Also we are both dressing as st georges themed cheerleaders and its my birthday too :) If we both went to the same start point, do you think we could plead ignorance and get away with it? What could they possibly do once we have started running?
I am really worried about this now!
Kelly
I know of serveral people who have changed starts, but your problem will be with the baggage trucks. They will only take bags numbered for that start. So if you both are at the same start, you will have to use one numbered bag between you.
Thanks for your reply! Think we will be fine with just the one bag, so thats good to know!
Message for Kelly - my running patrner and myself are in the exact same position - we have trained together from day 1. If you want to email me perhaps we can sort something out. I have tried emailing you but have received a notification failure saying the email was not delivered.
