The link below is for a range of ideas for fundraising that was produced by my local company and hope it may give you all some ideas

Pretty substantial list there. Think I'll use it should I get myself through my injury problems, perhaps with a view to running Berlin in 12 months time. Cheers

Well that seems like plenty to be going on with. Just when you think you've exhausted all the ideas then plenty more come along. Thanx

This sounds great and has given me lots of ideas.
What I need next is a way for people to donate money over the internet. Justgiving is good, but they want the charity to pay £15 a month for their name to be available on the web site. My charity is poor (generally less than £1000 in the bank) so cannot commit to this sort of arrangement, and for the amount of sponsorship we are likely to get, it would probably cost us more than we would make!
However, if I don't get some sort of web site set up then I will miss out on sponsorship from my family, who I rarely see and are too disorganised to send cheques.
Any ideas anyone?
