Hey All

How's everyone doing? and what have you all got going on this weekend then?

No races for me this weekend, which is fine by me as I've got a niggle in the old right groin and my foot is still not right yet? (moan over).

Next mara for me is Mablethorpe over near Grimsby on Oct 3rd, sound's like a good one, nice and flat and not packed to the rafters, eddy mara is open and taking places although think I'm going to wait a while, the places don't go that quickly but I did enjoy the whole weekend and mara so will probably do itSmile, I'm looking at doing the 3 Peaks Yorkshire Challenge in April, (enter mid Jan) you have to do 2 certain races to qualify, I've done Ingleborough 7 mile fell race and got booked in to the Tour Of Pendle 17 in November.

Have a great weekend folks!!!

Hiya

Ha bit of an ordeal alrightFrown, 74 miles and 42 peaks in under 24 hours! really tough, I'm reading the book now and it's great so far I must say, proper runners back in the day eh, I'm looking at doing the Yorkshire 3 peaks race next year but seems quite sad in comparison, race over the 3 Yorkshire peaks, 24 miles.

Hi Raven,

How's it going, all going ok I hope.

That's cool, pop along although can't say I'll be wearing a daft hat or anything, but you never know? I'll be wearing the club vest which is yellow with a black band round the middle, sure that will be easy to spotLaughing not!!!

Out of interest have you done it yourself?or anything I should know about that you know of?

Happy birthday Andrew, have a great day. I'm not doing anything except taking the kids to the country show G & S. It's about the biggest thing that happens down her and it takes all day just to queueueueue for the car park!...Smile~

will try to pop down and catch a glimse of you as you speed by... unfortunataly its down as the same day as our club open cross country ..... and my son will be running there.

happy birthday to you hoping that you have a great day.

have done both the mabo 10k and the 1/2 mara... be warned that you are running on very busy roads (summer hols and mabo is a beach resort!! ) the roads are notorious for speeding drivers and there are a lot of bends... and the marshalls and toilets are few and far between but saying that i did enjoy the 1/2 that i have done. hope i havent put you off!!! have fun

Your certainly making it sound somewhat less appealing there Raven, there will be at least 10 of us going down and doing either the half or full, and all's girls!!!!!!!!Tongue out so no you haven't put me off but thanks for the info.

Where are you from then Flanker? and what's your real name? I'm sure you will have a good time although parking and leaving sound's a bit of a grinderFrown.
