Waa-Hey - It's Wednesday!

Six weeks' Summer holiday starts here, so I'm up bright and early to make the most of it.   Not for me the early morning run as it's my favourite club run this evening, and it would look a little too keen to run twice in one day.

The only other plan for today is to take Lady Custarde out for lunch somewhere as the little Custardes start to break up from this afternoon onwards.

Have a great day, folks!

Are you friends with the Rhubarbs? You could all get together and have a great party. Cool

I wouldn't mind 6 weeks off work. Actually I wouldn't mind 6 years off work. Bloody lottery, is it useless or what!

I'd be quite happy to have 6 weeks off too!  But alas I am just happy I don't have any more work shows until August 2nd (I am going to a day of Truck Festival on Saturday though) in the last 9 days had gigs for work on 4 evenings and 3 days camping at Latitude Festival, needless to say I'm exhausted.  Did manage 5 miles of intervals on the treadmill this morning, hadn't run in 6 days eep!

Have had a couple of days off work, went walking in Sussex over the weekend, saw my Grandad in his care home yesterday and also been looking after my parents house - they are currently in the South of France with my brother and his wife (both teachers so they've got six weeks off) and their kids. Back at work today though.

I wish I could say I am missing work, but I'm not.

Lunch was good, though.

Little Buddha finishes at 2pm today for school hols and teacher shopping days. I must remember to pick him up this year. Cant have another repeat. That would be 3 years in a row. Embarassed

It's his birhday on August 1st so we are organising an Olympic Games birthday party. Well, I am. Some of the mums are a little concerned, I cant think why!!!
