I'm on the ''Blue'' start line. My vest number is 3695. I am making contact on behalf of ''The Soldiers Charity'' and their fund raising team to request your support in the form of a donation. We have seen a 30% increase year on year rise in applications from soldiers who have taken part in previous and current conflicts and the ''The Soldiers Charity'' must raise £7 million this year to meet their needs. We have teamed up with ''justgiving.com'' the leading online platform for charity giving. If you would like to sponsor you can at www.justgiving.com/fred-the-vet. Thanks

I'm familiar with the Royal British Legion and Help For Heroes (which, despite public perception, are not linked) - where does The Soldiers Charity fit into all this?
A genuine question.
