Vibram FiveFingers

I'll be honest Rob, you do seem to take your own opinions as gospel.

If we are talking about fivefingers. On this site a fair few of us have heard of them, but that's because of the nature of the site (fitness community) and the fact that they are currently being widely promoted in magazines... I've never met somebody who owned a pair though. 

Vibram soles are known as being top of their game... but how many people are actually aware of who makes them? You don't see an advert for vibram soles because their target audience isn't the general public, it's footware companies.

We all value our own opinions most highly Ruby.

I am very clear in my own mind though what is fact and what is opinion.

And if the argument coming back the other way is strong enough, my opinions are certainly open to change.

I do not have any kind of struggle with it when people express an opinion which is different to mine - they're just wrong that's all .

That is a great link Rob, thanks. I've been experimenting all morning with standing the way they suggest, and I can instantly feel it activating my vastus medialis muscles when I do it. That can only be a good thing, for I am one of the many who have an imbalance in the strength of the muscles either side of the knee. In fact it was weakness in this muscle when I was young that led to all the problems with my knees.

I'll have to give this a go!

How are you finding your Vibram FiveFingers RubyPout? My friend got some when we were in America and he loves them. He was walking round the parks in them and going in the water. I can't imagine it being very comfy having all of your toes seperated but he never took them off! 

I wsh I could answer that question but they still haven't arrived!

Oh :(. Let us know when you get them Do you do a lot of running? I bet you're going to love them :) 

I'm going to ask where they are as they asked for my address 6weeks ago! I havenkt done alot of running lately, but it i usually my main form of cardio :)

Apparently they were sent out a few weeks back... but they'll be sending a new pair. Mail thieves
