We had a fantastic time again this year. Thanks to all the staff, volunteers, and other runners that go into making this my favorite weekend of the year. One thing that made me sad, though, was my meal at the end, and I'm wondering what other teams do.
We're pretty darn slow (DFL beats DNF, right?), so we get to HB around 7pm, and really want dinner. Past experience is that the race-provided food isn't what we want. This is not a knock on the race organization... part of the problem is we want beer, and the state park won't allow it, so we're perfectly happy to go find a restaurant... it's just that we haven't found a reasonable one.
I'm sure we could find some better options with more online research beforehand, but surely some other team has a good answer!
