HOW MANY RUNNERS FOR MARATHON

How many marathners are there for this race? Does this race feel crowded? I'm sick of the mega races like NYC and Chicago -- Those are the last two I did. TOO BIG. How's this one?

Hi:

We will close this race out at 1500 runners total... and the way it usually splits in races that offer the two options at the same time (half and full), you'll likely see 1000 half marathoners and 500 marathoners, plus or minus a bit on each.

It's a relatively small race which allows us to be very hands-on and keeps that small-town feel - because even if it's in "the Hamptons," it's a small community here and we want everyone to have a good time.
