Hey Neil,

Not long at all! I've never done it before and I'm so nervous! How about you?

Hi Laura I've not done the London bupa 10k before but it will be my third 10k. I have done a couple of local 10k's , I only started running a year ago. No need to be nervous you'll be fine.! Hope it stops raining before I want to run tonight. Train hard..! Neil Ps any ideas why my profile pic doesn't seem to show.?

PPS profile pic now showing Smile

Good luck to you and everyone running this.  I was hoping to do this but got what feels like a calf strain so not sure about going ahead at this point, annoyed with self for overdoing it.

Hello Nan44 and everyone else reading

I managed to do it in 47.34 which in one sense i was happy but also disappointed because my PB is just over 46 and i trained to do it in 45

Not sure if i can or should blame walking the streets of London since Friday with the family, not eating properly, not sleeping well the night before, a bad calf which was strapped and the heat or should i just say i failed in my quest..? lol

Went for a short run on tuesday to blow the cob webs off and did 4.5miles in a average of 7.16 mins/mile which is 24 seconds a mile faster than i ran in london, My village air must be pure oxygen..!

I've already signed up for next year,

I have unfinished business with the Bupa London 10000...!
