Hi there,
I've decided to take the plunge as my mind's full of questions already and I don't want to bore everyone I know on twitter completely rigid in the next 3 months.
I live on Merseyside. Never run a marathon before, doing London in 2012. Been a lifelong ambition but never ran before 2007 when I did a half. Did another half the next year and loads of 10ks but got a knee injury the other year which needed an operation.
I'm doing a 16 week plan and to be honest, no major lofty goals except to get round and enjoy it rather than feel like I'm dying!
Looking forward to reading all about everyone else's journeys and get (and maybe even give) some advice. Am off to the meet the experts thing on 4th Feb so hopefully meet some of you there.
x

Hi Antonia,
I'm running the London Marathon for the first time this year too! I ran the Sheffield half marathon in 2010 so stepping it up a bit this year. Are you getting nervous yet? I'm running for charity so I'm excited about it, but very nervous as well!

Good luck! How is the training going at the moment? Is your knee coping?
