yes I am a runner and I said I would never do the London Marathon, but here I am as excited as everyone else. Nearly blew it 6 weeks ago when I tore my hamstring in a 10 mile race but luckily It's healed fairly quickly and I've managed to the get the mileage back up to 19 before starting to taper. Was hoping for sub 3 hours but may have to do with a GFA time of sub 3:15 (47 going on 48) and try again next year. Good luck to everyone of you hope you all reach your personal goals whatever they may be and maybe we'll meet in 2 weeks time.

Great Running!!!!!!

Tough luck on the hamstring. Thery tend to be ok as long as you don't go for the sprint finish! Hopefully it holds out on the day. I don't have a place but hoping my luck's in for 2008.
