Everyone has one... what's yours? What is something you can't just have in moderation and you just can't get enough of?...... Mine is a cup of builder's tea with chocolate!

Mine is definitely a big Galaxy bar with a warm cup of tea! I get in my pyjamas, make a cup of tea and eat the chocolate whilst watching Corrie!

I sometimes buy big bars of chocolate/packets of biscuits. Then I get them home (well, quite often they don't survive the journey!) and scoff the lot.

I agree LauraRTaylor I think I have a chocolate problem

PS (whats wrong with the edit facility by the way?) - also like cakes, especially Viennese Whirls

I am also partial to galaxy and very hot tea, I put the chocolate in my mouth then sip tea until it's melted. It's probably the only time I drink normal black tea.

It has to be the big bar though and only if I can trust myself to leave the rest for another time. I like the smaller pieces, breaking down the small bar just isn't the same ;)

I agree a big bar of chocolate is just so much better than a little one, but I like buying the longer packs of the small chocolate bars then I only allow myself the one so I don't have to resist the temptation of putting the big bar back!

I'm trying to swap my chocolate addiction for something more healthy, but it's just not happening!

A nice cup of tea for me - I know those tannings are impeding the ability of my red blood cells to carry oxygen to the muscles I'm asking to work for me, but I just can't help myself, love the stuff.

What are tannings Rob? Black tea can't be that bad for us though? It still contains antioxidants... and brings joy to all that drink it!! Wink Especially, @LauraTaylor, when eaten with Galaxy, whilst in your pjs and watching Corrie! Bliss.

Tannins, it's the stuff in the plant that causes the dryness/astringency of foods or drinks. A natural protection for the plant. It an be an inhibitor of  vitamins and minerals so it's best to drink tea seperately from food. It's like anything, too much isn't good for you.

Larger.  It goes pretty well with all meals.  I would have it on my cornflakes if my wife would let me.

Generally I’ll only have it for celebrations, commiserations, milestones and I find it goes down pretty well at the end of any day that ends in 'y'.

Cookies / biscuits... Used to be the case that an open pack meant an empty pack. I eventually learned some self control and could manage to open a pack have a couple then put the rest of the pack away in the cupboard, but it was painful. Now we buy smaller packs of luxury cookies (i.e. 6 cookies in a pack as opposed to maybe 20+ chocolate digestives in a pack), means between the two of us we can open the pack, finish the pack, and not feel too bad about it, no self control required :D

Good idea. My weakness is chocolate. I've slowly managed to buy less and less and now I don't tend to have any in the house.

This isn't a bad idea -I'm the same with an open bar of chocolate, but have learnt some self control as I've got older! While I love the stuff, the consequences aren't good if I eat too much! So I try to keep it as a treat once a week.

Me too - if it's open, I pretty much end up polishing off the whole thing - I'm fine if it's not open though! Chocolate and ice cream are my mega weaknesses - so trying to keep them to just the weekend.

Mine is pavlova. I can't get enough of it, and you think to yourself it is healthy because it has fruit on it but all the sugar and whipped cream is not! I once tried a weird recipe replacing the cream with yogurt - never again. I just LOVE pavlova! And iced gems!
