I cannot believe this hasn't been covered here before!

As I mentioned in another post, this is where my husband proposed to me, so we're pretty familiar with the area.

I have to advise all of you to go wine-tasting while you're in the area. It is one of the highlights of our year when we go on our anniversary. Each year, we go on a different tour.

I'm not sure if I can mention specifics here...But do try it! After the race, of course. :)

Wine tasting might be good. I've never been.

Beer tasting would be better. :)

Are there bars or pubs in the area?

As luck would have it, I have been to a microbrewery in downtown Napa. It's called Downtown Joes,

Kind of "divey" in a classy kinda way, which I personally liked. Their "Golden Thistle Very Bitter Ale" is to die for!
