My friend's running partner dropped out due to injury and would like me to run along for the half. I wasn't planning on running but was just asked after she was turned down by other friends' of ours. Registration window is closed, so it is too late to pay fee. What are the odds of police or organizers pulling me out of the race as it says on the official website? Anyone have any experience with this?
