Is it too late?

I started training for the half marathon, my very first, and was right on track with the training schedule. About a month ago I got the flu and it took quite awhile to recover. Last week I ran a 6 mile long run. If I try an 8 this week and maybe a 10 the following should I be in ok shape? Thanks:)

I think that all depends upon a lot of variables, such as your age, general fitness, experience, and willpower.

Someone might want to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if all those variables are in your favor, it's not too late. If they are all against you, it's too late. If it's somewhere in the middle, perhaps.
