What kind of fuel do you like during your long runs?

SportsBeans. Favorite flavor: Berry Blue.

I don't do marathons...yet. But I do plenty of 10Ks, and so far, this is the best I've found.

I start at about 7 or 8 minutes into the race and follow up every 7 minutes or so.

I have recently started using a gel called Carb=Boom. It's made from real fruit, so I don't get that yucky phony taste that literally turns my stomach. According to the package, it's made from "super concentrated complex carbohydrates" and have 22 - 25g complex carbs.

The vanilla orange, which I love, has 50 mg of caffeine.

GU gel! They have a chocolate flavor that really gets me going. I also drink GU2O while I'm running.
