Popcorn

Apparently popcorn has nearly twice as many antioxidants per serving as fruit and veg! I love popcorn so (to help celebrate this news
) does anyone have any good popcorn recipes or have you come across any good/interesting flavours to buy?

That's a whole lot of antioxidants! I really like wasabi flavoured popcorn, I've had some chili ones that were pretty good too.

The only popcorn I like is covered in toffee, because it's the only one that doesn't stick into your throat (as much) and make you want to puke.
Nasty tasteless styrofoam-textured stuff otherwise. I'm not a fan!

I've had spicy popcorn with chilli and other wonderments, which was tasty. For me my enjoyment hinges on the seasoning/augmentation of the pop corn. The plain stuff is just chewy squeaky air but I'm all for interesting flavour matches of the popcorn variety.

I think freshly made popcorn has a nice texture, it's just the stale stuff that's been left sitting there that has that styrofoam texture. I've had chilli and wasabi flavour popcorns too, they're really nice! I downloaded this e-book of about 100 popcorn recopes from ebay, it had some really good recipes. My faves were pizza flavour (with herbs and a bit of parmesan) and cheese and chive.

I don't really like the texture of fresh stuff, I've had it as fresh as you can get (popped in the pan) and still think it has a styrofoam texture. It's the shells that get me, they just stick in my throat.

The worst is when the manage wedge themselves into the space between gum and tooth right at the back of your mouth. I've ended up with tooth ache only to discover I a piece of seed nestled in wisdom tooth in the neather regions ofmy mouth.

I think I would actually try salt and vinegar ones. It's my favourite crisp flavour.
