Course changes and faster times

I've heard that there are some pretty big changes to the course from past years. Can anyone confirm what the changes are and if it will mean faster times for runners.

I've read that the overpass is no longer part of the course.

Is there anyone else with information about this?

According to their site, the overpass is no longer part of the course.

to everyone registered or contemplating registering for this marathon, I would say that we have finally created a course that draws on all the beauty of Park City, while avoiding areas which are becoming developed (this has been the most challenging aspect of creating a course that will be good into the future). The primary change from 2006 is that we no longer have to run over the Hwy 40 overpass, as was noted in this discussion. The good things about the course (in my opinion) is the variety--the surface varies from roads (approximately 9 miles), approximately 9 miles of wide gravel paths (a tiny bit of single track), and approximately 9 miles of paved bike paths. Throw in some plank bridges, a skiier bridge, some tunnels, down the middle of an open air mall, past three ski resorts...a unique experience. And the climbing? Nothing too steep except for two blocks at mile 17. The rest is gentle (2-4%) up and down. But, we ARE in the mountains, so you will not get your pancake-flat course here! The half marathon course is run almost entirely on either gravel or paved bike paths, gentle upgrade on the outbound, with a cruise back to the finish.

Hope this is helpful. We are proud of our beautiful area, and hope you'll join us this August!
