find photos of yourself

hey everyone, congratulations! Yesterday was my first marathon and it was an amazing experience.

I'm a computer science student, and I built a web site at www.bibfind.com to help us runners find photos that other people took of us during the marathon. It basically lets you search for photos by bib number, so you don't need to know the person who took the photos in order to find them.

Philadelphia marathon photos should be loaded in soon, so check it in the next couple days! And if you've got any suggestions or feedback let me know either here or at feedback@bibfind.com

thanks to everyone who's tried bibfind out! Thanks to you over 300 unique bib numbers have been identified so far. If you have any photos from the race, please upload them to flickr.com and tag them with something like "philadelphia marathon" so that I can bring them in to bibfind and the other runners in your photos can find themselves.

Also, I've added an option to sign up for email notification when new photos are tagged with your bib number. Just search for your bib number at www.bibfind.com, and when the search results come in there will be a field at the bottom to put in your email. No spam, I promise.

just got a new batch of photos into the system, and over 400 unique bibs are indexed so far!

But with more than 20,000 runners, we'll need more photos to get them all, so please put your photos up on flickr. Or if there's another photo service you prefer (like Picasa web albums) let me know and I can build support for that into the search engine.
