ipods

How strict is the no ipod rule? I'm not sure I can run with out mine...it's freaking me out.

Word I've heard is they're going to ask you to remove earbuds before the start, so you can hear announcements.....

and then they're going to ask you to remove your earbuds at the 26 Mile mark.....so you can hear your name announced, and also to hear finish line personel's instructions -

I considered using them last year, but didn't. Adrenaline and crowd cheering was enough for me. However, many people did. I didn't hear anything about DQs as a result of it.
