I haven't seen anything yet about what time we should plan to get to the starting line??? My hotel is near the start/finish.
Any ideas, I've never run Philly before. For Boston and NY you have to get there (by bus) usually a few hours BEFORE the start.
Is Philly the same?!!
Thanks!

Unlike NY or Boston, Philly doesn't have to bus everyone to the start line. So show up whenever you want. I think the home page suggests being there by 6:30. Depending on your pre-race routine, you may want to get there earlier.

Beth is right. There is no need to get to the start any earlier than 6:30 a.m. (especially if it's cold - and, it is supposed to be cold race morning). You don't want to be standing around too long when the temp is hovering at or below freezing.
Use your walk from the hotel as a warm-up. Then, run the first few miles a little slower just to allow your body to ease into your target race pace.
Have a great race!
