How is everyone's training for the Reading Half Marathon going?
Quite frankly my training was rubbish - a couple of long runs (managed 10 at best), none of the tempo or fartlek stuff at all, finished in 2:34, when I have in the past done 2:15.
Did very little training when it was really cold - in retrospect I should at least have dragged my sorry butt down the gym and gone on the treadmill a few times, never something I've enjoyed all that much but better than nothing. Think in the end I just got out of the habit. No more races booked now until Maidenhead in September, and this time I'll train properly.
Bit nasty as I crossed the line - as you may have heard someone collapsed and died after finishing - saw someone collapsed at the side surrounded by medics etc - think that may have been him.
Spoogie37, as named by The Style Council - not the pop group but some strange woman I used to work with who wanted to put me on the Trinny and Susannah show.

Suprised not to of heard more about the Reading half on here.
I followed the man on twitter, very sad to hear about what happened at the race!
