Any suggestions for making healthy burgers? I.e. tuna, lean beef, turkey?
May the force be with you
Bean burgers are good, add some natural yoghurt instead of mayo and some mint - lovely!
I made some really good bean burgers a while ago, I think the serving suggestion was with mango and tomato relish. They were really tasty, very filling and nice enough that you didn't really miss the meat.
I have the recipe somewhere so I'll post it if you're interested (and when I find it)
To make burgers just head to the butchers and get some decent leanish mince (you can choose your meat and ask them to mince it while you're there), it helps if there's a little fat on the meat or the burger will be too dry. Gently fry some finely chopped onion and garlic, crack an egg in to the mince to bind it and add loads of herbs of your choice and some chopped fresh tomatoes if you like. Just mix and mash everything together until it's gooey and you can shape it into burgers and grill.
See you later

Scrap the roast dinner, I think I'm going to give these a whirl! You can't beat healthy food that tastes great and nourishes you - you always feel so much better for it, compared to how you feel after a takeaway.
Every stitch is like a little hug
A nice swap for healthy burgers is taking out the bread buns. You could use wholemeal pittas instead
