I was wondering what is everyones favourite North American running event?

It would have to be the NY marathon - but I'd love to do one in San Fran, is there one there?

Yeah NY would be a great one to take part in or maybe Boston. Wouldn't fancy tackling one in one of the  warmer states.

If I could manage a marathon New York Marathon would be well up there. San Francisco would be brutal - it's so hilly there!

They've got one in Honolulu that looks like it'd be a good one.

That would be good, always wanted to go to Honolulu!

Yeah that would be amazing- the scenery would be gorgeous!

If I was ever to do a marathon (and the likelihood is pretty slim!!) I'd definitely go for the Honolulu one! The scenery would be great and it would be the perfect place to relax once you'd finished!

I'd like to do the Disney's Princess Half Marathon - looks amazing!

That sounds brilliant! I am a girly-girl who loves running so this would be perfect for me!!

Do you have to dress up as Disney characters then?

I think the Disney Princess run has to win! That's brilliant.

I heard about this (I'm a twitter follower) - you don't have to, but lots of people do and they look brilliant!

I think blokes running along as snow white or beauty would look hilarious!

I've heard that the marathon that they do goes through all the parks!

I'd have a hard enough time as it is running a marathon, never mind being dressed as a princess while I do it!

I would definitely dress up! I'd do it as the little mermaid (although might be tough to run dressed as a mermaid?) There's a family 5k as well, "for princesses and their families"!

I'd LOVE to do the Disney Princess half marathon! Apparently there's a Tinkerbell one too!

It's definitely a good reason to run - although I guess it'd be pretty sweaty to do in a princess costume! Would have to find an airy one.
