Hawaii

Has anyone ever ran a race in Hawaii? I'd love to do a race here - would be the perfect place to relax afterwards too.

Not sure I'd be brave enough for that one!! Was picturing more running along a beautiful beach than on an active volcano haha. Sounds like an interesting race though!

I'd love to go to Hawaii, but not sure I could work up for the motivation for a race, would want to relax if I was there I think! Would be a nice place to do a swim though!

Hawaii is at the very top of my list of places I want to visit! It would be a beautiful place to run, but I'd most like to try hula dancing - that would be a fun way to get fit!!

Hula dancing sounds amazing! maybe they should introduce this into gym memberships! i would definitely go haha I don't care if it's a 'girls' sport.

Me too - although I can't imagine you'd burn many calories doing it.

You'd just have to go over-the-top with the hip movements!  I suppose you are using your legs and your stomach muscles- if you do it properly that is!

I don't know, I read that it's really good for you. Think it's good for toning up more than fat loss.

That sounds good - could do with toning up a bit more!

I've only used yoga and pilates to tone up in the past.  This sounds like such a fun alternative, yoga and pilates are quite quiet classes - I think this would be a right laugh! haha.

I wonder what you'd have to wear for a hula class... I'm picturing grass skirts and coconut bras haha

Someone should start one of these classes.  I think it's one of those sports that men would go to because a lot of women would go.  I reckon it would tone you up nicely as well!

I googled it and there don't seem to be any classes in the UK - someone should definitely start one up! It could be the new craze like Zumba!

I'd definitely be attending that!
