They'll look great! I'm can't wait for the Olympics to start - have you tickets to see anything?

I hope we get more stuff like this scattered around the UK - I think they'd look great!

I heard some stats this morning - that apparently the majority of the UK population are not that bothered about 2012 - come on people, have some sporting spirit!

That's such a shame! This is pretty much a once in a lifetime opportunity to see it in our home country - people should get into the spirit of it!

Agree with you sky high - massive experience and we all should embrace it. I'd love to see any of the gymnastics and diving but unfortunately it will have to be from the sofa and not the stadium for me.

They say that but I wouldn't count the chickens until the tv figures are in, I think we can put it down to sacastic gloomy old Brits! Nowhere in the world does a people have such a propensity for unenthusiasm.

Besides, large portions of the population of China probably didn't know the games were even going on in Beijing! Same with the world cup in South Africa. Of the guys I met over there the whites were slightly bored of hearing about it and wanted the rugby instead and the black guys admitted they were really excited but wouldn't have a hope in hell of getting anywhere near it.

I think you have to put some of the apparent lack of enthusiasm down to the overofficious approach of the Olympic organisation who so jealously guard use of the Olympic rings and other associated logos and TMs. I recall a butcher being told to remove an Olympic ring display he had made from sausages - all because he wasn't an official partner.

That just seems ridiculous! What's wrong with Olympic bangers? Also, really regretting not signing up for tickets - would like to have seen something in 'real life'.

You'll still be able to get out there and see things such as the Marathon and the Road cycling without needing to have a ticket so make the most of it.
