Curling, my friend really likes it and showed me a video of what was supposedly one of the most exciting curling 'plays' ever. It was the most boring video I've ever seen!
I'd have to say darts or snooker; snooze fest!
Every stitch is like a little hug
Snooker is rather boring these days - I'm tempted to say that Ronnie O'Sullivan is the only one with any personality. Perhaps I'm showing my age here but I remember the days of Ray Reardon and Dennis Taylor - real characters - and we had Alex Higgins, a bad boy of the sport. And at the time we sarcastically called Steve Davis 'interesting', tell you what, he's a damned sight more interesting than some of the current players!
Spoogie37, as named by The Style Council - not the pop group but some strange woman I used to work with who wanted to put me on the Trinny and Susannah show.

Cricket - so long and so boring!
Golf, definitely. In fact, anything that is counted as 'sport' but doesn't really require much athletic involvement is pretty boring to watch.

I agree -slow sports are tedious to watch. Although, having said that, I would rather watch paint dry than watch a football match.

Horse racing. Why would anyone watch that unless they actually had some money riding on it. Most people watch one race a year in early April and then that's it. Says it all really.

Tell me about it, my dad is obsessed with horse racing and spends all weekend watching it, even when there is good football on! Madness.
Horse racing is quite a sad sport, i dont enjoy watching it and some aspects of the sport are apalling with regards to care and treatment. There are good trainers out there but the turnover of horses is huge and the TB market saturated, below standard horses are often destined for slaughter if a home cant be found :( i do enjoy watching other horse sports that people often find boring, you just have to appreciate the skill, technique and partnership involved :)

Cricket, golf and tennis are really dull to watch, but quite fun to play. After watching War Horse I don't think I could ever look at another horse in the same way again - JOEY!

Exactly - it's more gambling than sport. Used to annoy the hell out of me when I was a lad and they put it on Grandstand.
Mental toughness is for wimps
I think Snooker extremely boring to watch but can appreciate the skill required. Synchronised swimming is so rubbish it's unbelievable as is rhythmic gymnastics.
Bowls and Darts - THough weirdly I love to watch bowls (or whatever the sport is that's similar in the olympics) during the olympics.
American Football too - I've tried, really i have and will try again tonight to watch the SUperbowl but it's so long winded.

The stop start nature of American Football can make it a little tedious, but I find it really enjoyable. Some of those guys are amazing athletes, and the tactics behind it are insane. Compare the tactics of proper football to American Football and it's like noughts and crosses compared to chess.
I still prefer regular football though!
Well I tried but it just wound me up after a while. Can definitely see it's more intricate than say baseball but when our football winds me up when players play act and you get stop start, there's never really much hope for me liking it.
The national anthem bit was good though.

EVERY sport if watching... I just cannot see the enjoyment in watching it, taking part is a whole different ball game.
There must be one sport you enjoy watching!
If sport is on television I can honestly NEVER enjoy. I can enjoy a game of footie every now and again but that's more about atmosphere. I was a fan of Rugby when younger... Still find it really boring to watch most sports though! Much rather take part.
