Any motorsport fans?

So theres alot of chat on Realbuzz surrounding running, football, cycling etc but I've barely seen any mention of motorsport.

I'm really into motorsport and kart as much as possible (funds permitting, quiet expensive!). I'm also into F1, rallying, anything on four wheels basically. The consensus is that motorsport is not a sport, i.e. it doesn't promote healthy active living, but trust me you need to be fit and in good physical condition to ride a kart for any length of time.

Recently I entered into a endurance race which lastest two hours and my word did my muscles hurt the next day, especially the arms, shoulders and backEmbarassed

So who else is into motorsport?

Love a decent bit of racing - oh if only they'd do away with tyre changes in F1 - get it all done on the track!! You're dead right about conditioning. Those F1 drivers arew amongst the fittest people on the planet - they have to be - what their bodies get put through in a race is unbelievable.

And they have to be little too - I keep telling myself I could have been a racing driver, I am just too tall Wink

I know a few people that won't be following F1 now the plan is not to cover all races on terrestrial TV.

I'll be one of them; I dont have Sky and have no plans to get it.

These videos are worth a watch, there are some real digging comments to be heard from Martin Brundle, Vettel, Jenson and Jake Humphreys Surprised

Very annoying, I'm more of a casual fan of it but certainly won't be following it as closely now it's gone to Sky.

Has anyone seen 'Senna'? I found it really interesting, one of the best docuemantaries I've seen in a long time.

I'm looking forward to it. You know Sky are going to be bringing out the big guns for it so I'm excited to see some real quality coverage. Not that the BBC was bad or anything, just I know Sky will be better Cool

Get a freesat dish and box and point it 'elsewhere'. You'll pick it up from another country for free then, and it will only cost the equivalent of one month of Sky.

When I'm ready to have the dish pointed 'elsewhere' I'll be sure to let you know. Do note my apartment is on the 5th floor so remember to bring your bungy rope should the worst happenLaughing
