Anyone got Olympic tickets?

Money being taken out of bank accounts this week. So far my balance is the same as it was last night. I have ordered two tickets  - for the 100 metre heats and one of the rowing days. My bank says if I've got either/both of them the money is coming out in the next couple of days.

Nothing for me yet either. Hoping for tickets for the tennis and track cycling so keeping a watchi to see if any money is taken. To be fair, I'm hoping I don't get both as couldn;t really afford them.

So did you have any joy Spoogie with tickets? Seems to me there were a lot of very disappointed people.

When I first posted that no money had been taken out of accounts. However, now I know some people who have had money taken out - bit I'm not one of them.Frown See you at the Marathon/road cycle race

Everyone who didn't get tickets seems to be lining up the marathon - it's put me off the idea of going now, it sounds like it's going to be way too busy.

Yay! Smile. I think i've got 4 tickets although no idea what combo etc. All i know is the dosh was taken from my account. Sadly all the tickets i purchased were the same price band, except the Opening Ceremony so I know it's definitely not that, so I have no idea what we're going to see. I'm routing for the men's 100m final evening as my top 'wish', women's 100m evening next, then cycling, diving, basketball, gymnastics, kayacking (is that spelt right?!) and rowing last only as i have to drive to Bucks for that and the rest are a 35 minute train ride from my local station.

I got 10% of what i asked for - 4 tickets from 40 bids. Pathetic really but at least i didn't draw a blank like some unfortunate people. How about anyone else?

No tickets for me. I'm not that interested in going as I think London will be more over priced that usual!

As you'd expect, it seems that most people applied for the same events (100m final, cycling and a few others) that it's no surprise there were a lot of disappointed people. Still seems strange to me that people were in a position that they didn't even know what tickets they had before the money was taken. Logic says that it would have made more sense to send successful applicants an email informing them they have been successful and "here's a link if you wish to purchase those tickets." If they don't want to buy them the tickets could just be put up for general sale.

realbuzz just got an accreditation for the Olympic games. We'll be there in official capacity of course!

So did anyone have any luck in the second round of application for tickets? It seems quite a few people had some success but if you'd got some first time round you couldn't apply for any more, so if you were unhappy with what you got first time round then it was tough luck.

Today they have announced that people who were successful first time can now apply for remaining tickets for volleyball, wrestling and football. Could be interesting if TeamGB can get their act together for the footy tournament, so might be worth taking a risk on getting tickets for the semis or final although you won;t know who you are going to see at this point.

I have tickets for the football at OT.  I've been told there are plenty available for the Men's Semi (steady) at OT.  I applied this morning.

I got an early round of the badminton (no-one else applied probably). I suppose I should be thankful?

Sadly no, but will be spending a lot of time watching them on the TV.

Same here, I will pretty much watch any event that is on. I would have liked to see it in person but I wasn't organised enough to get tickets!
