The pre-fight slagging has started as we look forward to July 2. What are peoples thoughts? Will Haye's speed be enough to cope with Vlad's power?
haye is getting a bit too cocky about the fight but i do think he will win over the 12 rounds....if it lasts that long

My money is on Haye. He's the classier boxer and has so far managed to box as a good a bout as he talks. Klitschko has a pretty good chin and seems to come strong late on in his bouts so you suspect this one will go the distance.

I'm upfor Haye, but Wlad will be to strong, powerful and experienced. Jab jab Jab, then late KO
Yeah body shots too. Take the sting out of him and knacker him for the later rounds. Klitschko's a pretty experienced campaigner but I reckon Haye wants it more and if he can send that giant spinning then he can hurt vlad. He's got all the power he needs.

Haye probably does want it more, but you've got to remember the facts...Haye is really a bulked up cruiserweight who is moving up to heavyweight without any prior experience against other GOOD heavyweights.
Haye probably won’t come into this fight weighing anymore than 225, meaning that he’s going to be outweighed by at least 25 pounds and giving up five inches in height. With only two other prior fights against lesser heavyweights, it pretty much spells defeat for Haye.
My heart says Haye

wise words footnote...
If Haye loses there's no way he will want to bow out on a sour note. He's said that he will not box beyond October when he will be 31 but you suspect that a loss could well change his mind. In boxing it's not necessarily about the money but their place in boxing history. Haye will not want a defeat to be his last bout.

Haye was just not at it on Saturday night. If he was injured then you would think he would have postponed the fight but he obviously thought that he'd have enough, even with a broken toe, to win. Can't seem him ending on this note and you'd expect a rematch to be on the cards and for Haye to postpone his retirement plans.
In Istanbul, we won it five times!
I'd expect him to want to do a rematch tbh; sure he said that he wanted to retire but it's about his legacy almost now isn't it. No-one wants to end on a low point do they?
