So, you always hear about the same old places to go in America like LA, Florida, New York, etc, but I wondered: where's the best lesser known place you've ever visited or would like to visit in the US?

Friends of the family are moving to Arizona and have offered for me to go and stay. Anyone ever been? I don't know what to expect.
