Anyone been to Mexico?

Booking my summer holiday this week. Giving serious consideration to Mexico. Just wondering if any of you buzzers have ever been. Where did you go and would you recommend it?

I was doing a little research on this last night - I wouldn't mind going but a week costs around 1k, per person.

Never been but always looks good in the movies (I watched The Mexican the other night)

I opted for the Dom Rep instead of Mexico. Five weeks today I'll be sat in an airport just waiting for lift off. Rob, I've never seen the Mexican - is it any good?

Yes, I enjoyed it - if you like stuff such as Get Shorty or In Bruges, you probably will too.

In Bruges = AMAZING. The town isn't bad either!

Bruges all looked the same too me. Too many canals that it was very easy to get lost. I nearly missed the coach when I was there on a school trip to Bruges. 

I can see us having some long drunken walks back to the hotel then!
