Unfortunately only been there for ten minutes when my plane from Florida had to fly two hours out the way to make an emergency landing there! Not the best conditions for my first trip, but wouldn't mind back properly. What is there to do in Montreal?

Went to BC for a month in 2004. Absolutely wonderful country. Victoria is lovely. Want to go back to see the east.

I'd love to go to Niagra Falls, but haven't really heard of any other 'must-see' places to go....

I did a triangle trip New York - Niagrara - Toronto a few years ago.

Niagara falls itself is quite cool, but the place is really odd !! Theres a section thats rammed full of tacky horror houses and fairground rides, its weird.  Our hotel overlooked the falls, so all wasnt lost!

We did a winery tour one day, which was really good fun, as it was easter and cold, and out of season we were the only ones on the tour, so ended up getting quite drunk as all of the wineries were willing to offer big glasses to test !!!! The wineries made the trip for us, as it was out in the countryside, and was quite scenic.

Toronto was quite boring, I think coming from New York it was quite underwhelming, but theres nothing wrong with the place, you just need to make sure youve got a plan of what to do when you get there!

It'd be great to see Niagra falls - I've heard that's it's amazing from a few people I know that've been. The winery sounds awesome too - I'm all for large wine testing!!

Went on a school trip there for three weeks back in 2003. One of my favourite places. So laid back and the people awesome. Got into ice hockey a bit while over there. Can't recommend vancouver enough.

You got to go on a school trip there - muchos jealous. We got to France and Belgium - but going further afield would have been great.

I knwow, wish we'd got to go to places like that on school trips too! We didn't even get to go as far as France or Belgium, we only ever went places in England or Wales!

We had a partnership through some of the teachers. It was one of the best trips ever but trust me my school was not some posh public school. There was talk of a knife amnesty at one stage!

A little bit scary then?! Undecided

I met a girl from Canada who couldn't say anything nicer about the place - she said that where she lives they don't have to lock their houses or cars, it's just a really nice and safe place. And they get proper seasons - sounds lush!

Wow, can't imagine that not having to lock houses and cars here. Sounds nice. Where abouts was she from?

I know - me neither! I think she was from Ontario - a place to visit I think!

Where I lived we didn't lock our doors for years we do now but more out of necessity than anything else but then I do come from the posh boy home counties!

I've always locked my doors - but it'd be great to live in a place where no-one felt they needed to.

Haha must be nice to come from the posh boy home counties and not need to lock doors. I live in Liverpool. No further explanation necessary Smile

Yeah don't you guys have to have moats and draw-bridges to keep the hoards out up there?
