The new ride at Universal 'Rip it, ride it, rock it' is amazing! But can't beat the classic Tower of Terror!

Rip ride rockit is broken. It broke while we were there. There is a manufacturing fault with the couplings, and the German manufacturer issued a safety warning to all rides using their cars. It might take 3 months to fix.

No way- that's rubbish. It was great though- you get to choose your own music before the ride starts!  Did you go to the new Harry Potter land?  The pictures look great- really want to try some butterbeer.

Harry Potter was great - the new ride is amazing:

Butter Beer is OK, but loses its taste really quickly. It's basically coke mixed with Irn Bru topped with a butterscotch cream.

I saw the castle as they were building it- it looks fantastic now! Is that where the new ride is? What's the Hogsmeade village like?

Posted 12.10.10, 12:03pm

Yeah, you walk through the castle to get there. They have the talking pictures - they are amazing. They actually looks like real paintings.

The village is OK, a bit small. Big queues outside the wand shop. You walk through too quickly and end up in that sinbad world bit.

I guess it'll take a couple of years for the novelty to die down.  Can't wait to see it all!

I really like the rockin roller coaster in Hollywood studios- love Aerosmith.

It doesn't really count as a ride, but Philarmagic in Magic Kingdom.  Everything about it is amazing, and there was never a crazy big queue

Spiderman!

That's a great ride!!

They're generally bigger than any of the British ones and are really well themed so it builds up a great atmosphere even as you queue.

All the mountains- Splash, Space and Thunder- all brilliant and classic Disney.

There are so many, but I do really like the Dueling Dragons rollercoaster in Islands of Adventure, or Everest Expedition in Disney World!
